This weekend, DCC Industry Group had the absolute privilege of attending the Brisbane Children’s Christmas Party as a Bronze Major Sponsor and we couldn’t be any prouder to contribute to an event that brings so many smiles, so much joy, and so much magic to children in care, their families, and the wider community.
From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping straight into a Christmas wonderland. The energy was incredible; laughter everywhere, excited chats, families exploring every corner of the event, and kids running from one attraction to the next with big grins on their faces. And honestly… some of the parents got just as excited!
A Day of Joy, Fun and Community Spirit
The day was absolutely packed with things for kids to do — rides, games, creative stations, characters walking around (with some costumes that brought us right back to our childhood days). Everywhere you looked, there was colour, excitement and something happening.
We also loved seeing deadly local produce suppliers turning up with fresh fruits and food for the community. There was food… and then even more food… and then a mountain of sweets on top — exactly what a Christmas party should be.
Dancing, Music and Big Childhood Throwbacks
At one point, the whole dance floor came alive with jolly Christmas music. Naturally, we joined in… because how can you stand still when the entire community is having a boogie?
Some of the supporting services had impressive displays including patrol cars, bikes, and even a massive firetruck that kids couldn’t get enough of. And yes, Viktor may or may not have “raced” on one of the patrol motorcycles.
Santa’s Gift Shop & The Magic of the Season
One of the biggest highlights, as always, was seeing the huge line-up to visit Santa. Families queued up to enter Santa’s gift shop, and the excitement on the kids’ faces made every moment worth it. Seeing what Santa brought this year was a joy in itself.
