House Manager
Reporting to the Case Manager, this role is focused on supporting the day-to-day program operations in the organisation and supporting youth workers to develop and improve practice and drive positive outcomes for the young people in our care. In this role with DCC Industry Group, you will work collegially with the Case Manager as you support and implement program structure and consistency. You will be an effective determined and creative leader that takes the opportunity to develop and support a residential program. This position will see you providing on the floor support to young people in the program each day, with one day allocated as your admin day.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Staff and program inductions for all new employees in residential programs
- Rostering of staff, ensuring over and under-utilisation is kept to a minimum
- Assist with recruitment and conduct interviews
- Developing weekly house planner and activity structures
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all youth workers and Case Manager in a professional and timely manner
- Delivering care, support and guidance to our young people in a trauma-informed manner and identifying their needs.
- Up lining both client and stakeholder complaints and incidents promptly and in line with organisational requirements to the Case Manager.

Residential Care Worker – Part Time
In this permanent part time role, with a minimum of 24 hours per week, you will work alongside children and young people with complex behavioural needs, disabilities, and diverse cultural backgrounds. We place a strong emphasis on culturally appropriate and respectful practices in all aspects of care and support.

Cleaning and maintaining a therapeutic, welcoming home environment are key responsibilities, as is encouraging and helping young people to develop and maintain personal and household hygiene.

Manager – Therapeutic, Cultural, and Clinical Practice
We are seeking a strategic, values-driven Manager of Therapeutic, Cultural, and Clinical Practice to lead the development, implementation, and continuous evolution of high-quality, culturally safe, and clinically robust practice across DCC Group.
This is a senior leadership role with organisational influence. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Operations, the Manager of Therapeutic, Cultural, and Clinical Practice will provide strategic leadership in clinical governance, cultural capability, and practice excellence, ensuring that services are delivered safely, ethically, and in line with legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
The role holds responsibility for building the capability of leaders and practitioners, strengthening organisational culture, and embedding reflective, therapeutic, and evidence-based practice frameworks across all service divisions.
The Manager of Therapeutic, Cultural, and Clinical Practice will provide line management to a multidisciplinary team including Cultural Practice Advisors, Senior Practitioner(s), and Learning and Development, and will work closely with Executive and Operational Leaders to drive consistent, high-quality practice across Youth and Communities, Foster and Kinship Care, Disability, and Allied Health services.
This role requires the ability to operate both strategically and operationally, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, research-informed practice, and innovation to support better outcomes for children, families, and communities.
Foster & Kinship Case Practitioner
As a Foster & Kinship Case Practitioner, you will play a key role in the recruitment, assessment, training, and ongoing support of foster and kinship carers. Your primary focus will be to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and cultural needs of children and young people in out-of-home care are met in accordance with the Child Protection Act 1999 (Qld), Practice Standards, and DCC’s cultural values.
This role requires a culturally competent, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to case management and carer support. You will collaborate with families, community members, government and non-government partners to ensure every placement is stable, safe, and nurturing. You will also uphold the best interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children by embedding the five elements of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principle (ATSICPP) across all aspects of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct carer recruitment activities, initial enquiries, and information sessions in culturally safe and accessible ways.
- Complete comprehensive assessments of foster and kinship carer applicants, including Renewal of Approval and Quality of Care reviews.
- Deliver pre-service and ongoing training to carers, ensuring alignment with departmental expectations and cultural competency principles.

The main weekly shifts for this position fall within the hours of 2pm and 10pm and 8am to 4pm, with 8am – 4pm every second weekend, so we are looking for candidates with reasonable availability in consideration of this.
Case Worker – Youth and Forensic Disability
DCC is seeking an experienced professional with a background in youth and forensic disability support to work with an adolescent client in a single-tenancy residential setting transitioning to adulthood. The role is grounded in a trauma-informed, therapeutic approach that prioritises safety, strong relationships, and long-term well-being.
The placement is based in a standalone property in Logan and operates with a 2:1 staffing ratio, sleepover support, and contingency hours to ensure consistency, safety, and staff wellbeing. The role works closely with a dedicated Program Manager and specialist care team, contributing directly to daily care, behaviour support, and meaningful engagement with the client.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is calm under pressure, confident in supporting high-risk behaviours, and committed to helping young people build stability and positive pathways forward.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct, day-to-day support to a client with forensic disability and complex psychosocial needs within a single-tenancy residential setting
- Build strong, respectful relationships that promote trust, emotional safety, and engagement
